The Alpha's Unwanted Bride

01 All My Friends Were Gone
Elsa I sat alone in my room, feeling completely lost and overwhelmed. My mind was racing, and I didn't know what to do. The memories of the recent horrors were still so vivid, like fresh wounds that refused to heal. I couldn't believe that our lives had come to this. The sight of blood, the screams, the chaos—it all played on a loop in my mind, tormenting me day and night. The loss of my friends weighed heavily on my heart, and I couldn’t shake the overwhelming grief that threatened to consume me. My father was struggling too, more than I had ever seen him before. Our pack, once so strong and united, had been shattered. The Alpha, Beta, and Gamma, the pillars of our community, were gone, brutally killed, along with their entire families. It was a massacre, and the only reason we had been spared was because my father had surrendered. Even now, I could see the pain and guilt etched into his face. Our pack was drowning in sorrow, and I couldn’t imagine how we would ever find the strength to move on. I was only nineteen, too young to carry such a heavy burden, yet here I was, my world crumbling around me. As I sat in my room, lost in my grief, my father quietly entered. I knew he had something important to say, but the words seemed to be caught in his throat. He looked at me with a mixture of love and sadness, struggling to find the right moment to speak. "Elsa, how have you been holding up?" he finally asked, his voice gentle but laced with worry. He settled on the couch in my room, his eyes searching mine for an answer. I felt a lump form in my throat, and tears welled up in my eyes. "All my friends are gone, Daddy. I don’t have anyone left. I might never find my mate because our pack has been destroyed. This… this is a nightmare," I said, my voice breaking as I spoke. The reality of it all crashed down on me, and I couldn’t hold back the tears any longer. I started to cry, deep, wrenching sobs that shook my entire body. My father moved to sit beside me at the foot of my bed, wrapping his arms around me in a comforting embrace. I cried harder, clinging to him as if he were the only thing keeping me from falling apart completely. The memories of that horrible day flooded my mind, and the pain was unbearable. "I know it’s hard, and I wish I could tell you it will get easier," he said softly, his voice full of sorrow. "But I can’t promise that, my child." I cried even more, feeling the depth of his words. The pain, the loss, the uncertainty of our future—it all felt like too much to bear. My father sighed deeply, and in that moment, I could feel the weight of his exhaustion. He was tired—so incredibly tired. I knew he had been ready to face death, to fight until his last breath, but he had surrendered because of me. A part of me didn’t know whether I should be grateful for his decision or resentful. How could I ever reconcile the two? Many in the pack were thankful to him; his decision to surrender had saved all our lives. The Eclipse pack had taken control, and though our lives were spared, nothing was the same. I had heard stories about their Alpha—Adam, they called him. He was ruthless, never smiled, and ruled with an iron fist. He was wealthy beyond imagination, owning vast territories, and our land was just another trophy to add to his collection. I couldn’t imagine him seeing any value in us beyond what he could take. Would he even bother to treat us as more than slaves? I doubted it. My heart sank as I thought about the bleak future ahead. My father’s voice broke through my thoughts, pulling me back to the present. "I hate to be the one to tell you this," he began, and the tone of his voice sent a chill down my spine. I knew whatever he was about to say would be something I didn’t want to hear, but I listened intently, bracing myself for the blow. "For Alpha Adam to fully absorb our pack, to ensure our surrender is seen as genuine, I have to marry you off to him," he said, his words landing like a punch to my gut. The shock hit me so hard that I pulled away from him and stood up, my heart racing. "What?" I gasped, trying to make sense of what he had just said. Marry me off to Alpha Adam? Was this some kind of nightmare? I was only nineteen. I was a virgin, I hadn’t even met my mate yet. I hadn’t lived long enough to experience life, to find love, or to even know who I was. And now, my life was being traded away like some kind of bargaining chip. Panic surged through me, my breath quickening as the walls of my room seemed to close in around me. "You need to calm down, Elsa," my father urged, his voice pleading but firm. "This is completely beyond my control. He was the one who demanded this. I know he did it to test my loyalty. If I had refused, it would have been a clear sign that we hadn’t truly surrendered to him." He tried to explain, but his words only made my fear and anger swell. I shook my head, backing away as if I could escape the reality of the situation. How could he ask this of me? How could he expect me to accept such a fate? My entire world was crumbling, and I felt utterly powerless to stop it.
02 I Ran
Elsa My father's words hit me like a punch to the chest, knocking the breath out of me. I felt utterly hopeless, like the ground beneath me had given way. I wanted to believe it was all a cruel joke, that this wasn’t really happening. I needed it to be unreal, a nightmare I could wake up from. "No, Daddy. My life can’t be used to buy peace," I protested, my voice trembling with desperation. "What do you propose?" he countered, his voice laced with the heavy weight of reality. "That I say no, and he slaughters all of us? Because he can, Elsa. He can do that." I shook my head again, refusing to accept it. "That man has no feelings for me, and I have none for him. I’m only nineteen, Father. Alpha Adam is twenty-nine. He’s lived, he’s loved, he’s been mated. This is unfair to me," I cried, my words spilling out in a rush of anguish. But deep down, I knew my father wouldn’t change his mind. He couldn’t. The choice was out of his hands. Feeling trapped and overwhelmed, I did the only thing I could think of—I ran. I bolted out of the room, through the house, and into the open air. I didn’t stop to think, I just ran. Shifting wasn’t an option; arriving my destination n@ked would leave me even more vulnerable. So I stayed in my human form, my legs pounding the ground as I sprinted toward the only place that made sense to me in that moment. I needed to reach Alpha Adam’s residence. I needed to confront him, to irritate him, to make him see me as someone unworthy of his time and attention. If he rejected the union, then maybe, just maybe, I could escape this fate. I had never seen Alpha Adam before, but I was certain I would recognise him. His reputation preceded him—cold, intimidating, a man whose mere presence could silence a room. I ran harder, pushing my body to its limits, until I reached what had once been our Alpha’s residence. It was now just another piece of Alpha Adam’s vast collection. My chest was heaving, and I was out of breath, but I refused to stop. My heart pounded in my chest, not just from the physical exertion, but from the fear and determination coursing through me. I had come this far. There was no turning back now. When I arrived at the house, I saw that the front of the building was heavily guarded by men who looked dangerous, their eyes sharp and unyielding. None of them belonged to our pack; they were strangers, each one exuding a threatening aura. This was it for me. I had come this far, and there was no turning back now. My heart pounded, but I forced myself to move forward, my resolve hardening with every step. As soon as I got close, the guards became alert, their senses keen. They could smell me—sense my presence, my fear, my determination. I stepped out of the cover of the woods and into the open, fully aware of the risk I was taking. In an instant, they pounced on me, arresting me without hesitation. "I demand to see the Alpha!" I yelled, struggling as they pinned me to the ground and bound my wrists with silver chains. The metal burned into my skin, searing pain shooting through me, but I clenched my jaw, refusing to let them see me break. I would not give them the satisfaction of seeing me cry. "I want to see the Alpha!" I screamed again, my voice echoing with desperation and defiance. I heard some of them laugh, mocking my futile demands, but I didn’t care. I needed to do this, no matter the cost. They dragged me into the waiting room, where I was left bound and bruised, my body trembling with pain and fear. After a few moments, a man approached me. He was large and imposing, with a muscular build that made him look even more menacing. His brown hair was cropped short, and his piercing green eyes locked onto mine with a dangerous intensity. Despite the fear gnawing at my insides, I refused to look away, meeting his gaze with all the courage I could muster. "What do you want with Alpha Adam?" the man asked, his voice low and commanding, sending a shiver down my spine. I stared back at him, my resolve unshaken. This was my only chance. I couldn’t afford to falter now. "I need to speak to him," I insisted, trying to keep my voice steady, even though my wolf was beginning to doubt our decision. The unease was growing, whispering that we had made a grave mistake by coming here. But it was too late to turn back now. My wolf and I would have to face whatever came next, no matter the consequences. "Do you have an appointment?" the man asked, his tone cold and indifferent. I shook my head, knowing full well how ridiculous my request must have sounded. "Very well then, book an appointment," he said dismissively, already turning away as if I were nothing more than a nuisance. "I’m sorry, but I can’t do that," I replied quickly, desperation creeping into my voice. "My father plans to marry me off to him." The words tasted bitter on my tongue, but I forced them out. The man stopped in his tracks, his brow raising as he turned to study me more closely. I could see the doubt in his eyes, trying to gauge if I was telling the truth. When he realised I wasn’t lying, he hesitated, the coldness in his demeanour softening just a fraction. "You’re Davis's daughter?" he asked, his voice now tinged with curiosity. "Delta Davis," I corrected him, clinging to the last shred of my father’s honour. "Not anymore," he responded bluntly, and a fresh wave of anger surged through me. They had stripped everything from us—our land, our pride, even my father’s title. How dare they? And now, they wanted to take away my freedom, too. Why would Alpha Adam want to marry me after everything they had taken? I was on the verge of asking something foolish, something reckless when a deep, commanding voice echoed from within the Alpha’s office. The sound of it was enough to make the room still. Even in my foul mood, I couldn’t help but acknowledge how powerful and imposing that voice was. It was the voice of someone who was used to being obeyed, someone who held the lives of others in his hands. For a moment, my anger faltered, replaced by a mixture of fear and awe. But I quickly steeled myself again. I had come here for a reason, and I couldn’t afford to be intimidated—not now.
03 Alpha Adam
Elsa "Follow me," the brown-haired man commanded, and I raised an eyebrow in response. When he didn't understand why, I shook my bound hands to remind him of the chains still digging into my skin. He removed them, but I noticed he used a glove to do it, avoiding any direct contact with the metal on my burned wrists. The burns stung, and I knew it would take a day or two for them to heal completely. It infuriated me that he wasn’t even willing to t***h the chains with his b**e hands, as if I shouldn’t have been treated with care too. With my wrists finally free, I followed him into the office. As soon as I stepped inside, my breath caught in my throat. There he was—Alpha Adam. His presence matched the voice I had heard earlier, commanding and utterly intimidating. He was, without a doubt, the most handsome and imposing man I had ever seen. His dark hair and piercing eyes only added to his intense aura. His face, chiseled and severe, looked as though it was incapable of smiling, and the sheer danger that radiated from him made my heart skip a beat. In any other situation, a man like him would easily be the object of a woman's fantasy. But as I stood there, I reminded myself that he was the enemy—the one who had taken everything from us. I wasn’t about to let his looks or presence weaken my resolve. "What do you want? I do not have all day," he said, his tone harsh and dismissive. His voice cut through the air like a blade, and I felt the weight of his authority pressing down on me. But I refused to be intimidated. I stood tall, lifting my chest to show that I wasn’t afraid. "I do not want to marry you. Please ask for something else," I said, forcing myself to go straight to the point. My voice was steady, though my heart pounded in my chest. He stared at me, his gaze unwavering, studying me as if trying to decide what to make of me. "Or else what?" he asked, his question dripping with challenge. The way he said it caught me off guard, and for a moment, I was at a loss for words. I hadn’t come here to threaten him, but somehow, he had taken my plea as a challenge. I stood there, speechless, my confidence wavering. I had no idea how to respond. My mind raced, trying to find an answer, but nothing came. In that moment, I felt completely out of my depth, facing a man whose power and presence were far greater than anything I had ever encountered. "Nothing," I finally admitted, my voice softening as I realised the futility of my situation. I was being honest with both of us. "Stupid girl, we shouldn’t have come here," my wolf muttered in my head, her voice full of regret. But I pushed her thoughts aside, focusing on the man before me. "A man like you should not involve himself with someone like me," I said, trying to keep my tone calm, though I could feel the tension in the room rising. He raised an eyebrow, his expression hardening even further. "What do you mean by that?" he asked, his voice low and dangerous. I knew I had to tread carefully with my words. "I’m nobody," I began, my voice steady but laced with the truth of my insignificance. "I’m sure there are many attractive women in your pack. You don’t need to burden yourself with a nineteen-year-old nobody. Please, rest assured, you already have the full loyalty of the pack. You don’t need me to ensure their compliance." I tried to reason with him, hoping he would see the logic in my words. But he simply shook his head. "The pack isn’t the issue. I need to be sure your father will behave himself," he said, and I couldn’t hide my confusion. Why was he so focused on my father’s loyalty? "Your father is the Alpha’s brother, which makes him an Alpha too. I only spared his life because he surrendered, and I have no personal quarrel with him. But I don’t intend to keep someone like him around without having control over him." His words were sharp, cutting through any hope I had. "And you’re right—you’re not good enough for me, and you never will be. You will serve only as a form of insurance. I don’t fancy women like you, and you could never satisfy my desires. The wedding will take place for the reasons I’ve stated, and if you run away, I will eliminate your father and the entire pack. I don’t need them. Now, leave my office." His voice was cold, each word a calculated blow to my pride. Humiliation washed over me, but I refused to let it show. "You’re not my type either," I shot back, summoning the last of my defiance. "I only came here to spare myself the torture of being married to an old man." I turned to leave, my heart pounding, but before I could take a step, the brown-haired man grabbed my arm, holding me back. "You’ve done it this time, Elsa," my wolf warned, her voice tinged with panic, readying herself for a fight. Alpha Adam remained calm, his expression unreadable. "I believe you’ve never heard of me before," he said, his tone chillingly even. "I will not tolerate disrespect. The next time you speak to me in such a manner, you will be dealt with mercilessly. Now, leave my office." His words were final, leaving no room for argument. I turned and walked out of the office, my heart heavy with a mixture of anger, fear, and humiliation. As soon as I was back in the forest, I shifted into my wolf form, the familiar rush of power and speed taking over. I didn’t stop to think; I just ran, pushing myself as far away from that place as I could, needing to escape the reality that was now closing in around me.
04 An Ending Phase
Elsa I arrived home late in the night, n@ked and exhausted. The cool air clung to my skin as I crept into my room, hoping no one would see me in this state. I found a corner and curled up there, feeling so small and defeated. Tears had fallen so freely throughout my run that my eyes were now swollen and sore. Every sob felt like it was tearing something inside me apart, but I couldn’t stop. The way Alpha Adam had spoken, so cold and dismissive, made it clear that my father truly had no choice in this horrible arrangement. It was hard to believe that a man could be so cruel, so deliberate in destroying another person’s life. What was I going to do as his wife? What kind of Luna would I be when even the Alpha didn’t seem to care about me? How could the pack respect me when it was clear he never would? The thought of running away crossed my mind, but I knew it would be selfish. I couldn’t abandon my father or my pack. So, I sat there in the dark, crying until it felt like my very soul was bleeding. My life felt over before it had even begun. In a desperate attempt to cling to something, anything, I walked over to my vanity and pulled out my book Journal. As I turned the pages, I found the section where I had described how I wanted my marriage to be—how I had dreamed of meeting my mate, of experiencing that magical bond. But now, that dream would never come true. Alpha Adam had a mate once, and she had died. But he had lived his life, experienced love. And now, because of him, I would never know what that was like. He had put me in a position where I would have to reject my true mate if I ever found him. The injustice of it all made my blood boil. In a fit of rage, I started ripping the pages out of my book, tearing apart the dreams that would never come to pass. I scattered the torn pages around my room, letting the anger consume me. My wolf tried to calm me down, to offer some comfort, but I wasn’t having it. I was tired of being strong, tired of pretending I could handle all of this. My life, as I had known it, had come to an end, and all that was left was the broken pieces of a future that would never be. Eventually, exhausted from the storm of emotions, I curled up on the floor, surrounded by the remnants of my dreams, and cried until I had no tears left. Only then did sleep finally take me, pulling me into a restless oblivion. My father woke me gently the next morning, his t***h soft and careful, as if he knew how fragile I felt. A part of me wished I had died in my sleep, that the pain would have ended with the night. But I couldn’t tell him that. I didn’t want to add to the burden he was already carrying, the guilt and sorrow that weighed so heavily on him. "I'm sorry, little one," my father said, pulling me into a hug. His embrace was warm, but I could feel the tremor in his voice, the deep pain this situation caused him. "I wish I had another solution," he added, and the regret in his words cut through me. This wasn’t just hard for me—it was tearing him apart too. "I’m not mad at you, Daddy," I told him, trying to soothe the anguish I knew he was feeling. He had sacrificed so much throughout his life for the sake of peace. He had given up his rightful place as Alpha to prevent the pack from splitting, accepting the role of Delta instead, even though it meant less power and influence. He never complained, always putting the needs of others before his own. And now, once again, he was forced to make a painful decision for the sake of peace. "I’m not mad at you, Daddy," I repeated, hoping he would believe me, and he held me even tighter. "You have to be strong, my child," he said, his voice strained. "I’ve learned that Alpha Adam isn’t a nice man." He paused, and I could tell he was trying to prepare me for what lay ahead. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that I already knew, that I had seen firsthand just how cruel and heartless Alpha Adam could be. So, I simply nodded, not wanting to add to his worries. "Please get dressed. The wedding will be taking place in the evening," he said, and my heart sank. My wolf, Claire, stirred inside me, desperate to flee, to run as far away as possible. But there was no escape for either of us. We were bound together, and we would both have to endure this nightmare. "Why so soon?" I asked, my voice trembling with confusion and fear. The reality of it all was closing in on me too fast.
05 It’s Been Moved Up
Elsa "Alpha Adam said you confronted him yesterday," my father said in response to my question, and that was all the explanation I needed. I knew exactly what Alpha Adam was doing. I must have angered him, and now he was making sure I paid for it by rushing the wedding. He probably wanted to deal with me then and there but held back, deciding instead to trap me in this nightmare as quickly as possible. "Get up, dear. Ms. Alison is here to help you get ready for the wedding," my father said softly, offering his hand to help me stand. I felt a wave of resistance rise inside me. The last thing I wanted was to look pretty for this wedding. I didn’t care at all. If it were up to me, I would have walked down the aisle in a funeral gown just to show Alpha Adam how much I despised him. But I knew my father wouldn’t let that happen. I dragged myself to the bathroom and took a long, hot shower, letting the water mix with my tears. It felt like I was washing away the last remnants of my life as I knew it. This was the final morning I would spend in my father’s house, and the realisation hit me hard. Claire, my wolf, had been right all along—we shouldn’t have confronted Alpha Adam. But in my hurt and anger, I thought maybe, just maybe, if he saw me, he would change his mind. Instead, my actions had only sped up the inevitable, and now I was paying the price. I stayed under the water until it turned cold, hoping to numb the pain, but it only made me feel more hollow. Eventually, I had no choice but to leave the bathroom and face what was coming. Ms. Alison was already waiting for me, ready to begin her work. She was a kind woman, but I couldn’t find it in myself to care about the beauty treatments she was preparing. We had only three hours until the wedding, and at the rate she was going, I doubted we’d even be ready on time. "You need to cheer up, darling," Ms. Alison said as she worked on my nails, her voice gentle and encouraging. But I couldn’t bring myself to respond. It was easy for her to say—I was the one being forced to marry a man I didn’t love, a man who didn’t love me. I was only nineteen, and my life was being torn away from me, replaced with a future I didn’t want. I sat there in silence, my heart heavy with grief and anger, as she continued her work. The wedding loomed closer with every passing minute, and all I could feel was the deep, unrelenting dread of what was to come. "You know, it might end well," Ms. Alison said softly, snapping me out of my spiralling thoughts. "Easy for you to say," I replied, unable to hide the bitterness in my voice. But when I looked at her, I saw her smile falter, her eyes brimming with unshed tears. "My heart goes out to you, Elsa," she said, her voice trembling with emotion. "We all know you’re doing this to keep us safe, to ensure we don’t get killed. I wish with all my heart that there was another way, but he insisted. Everyone is heartbroken, Elsa. We all wish none of this had happened. If only our alpha hadn’t antagonised and plotted against Alpha Adam, our pack might still be intact." She paused, taking a shaky breath before continuing. "My mate died in that fight before he could even claim me. I’m forty years old, Elsa, and my life will never know love unless fate grants me a second chance. I understand your pain." Her words hit me hard, and I felt the tears I had been trying so hard to hold back begin to well up in my eyes. "It’s okay, darling," she said, her voice full of compassion. "You can cry. It’s just us here." Her kindness broke through the walls I had been trying to keep up, and I collapsed into tears, letting all the pain and sorrow pour out. Time seemed to blur as I cried, and by the time I had finally calmed down, I felt numb, drained of all emotion. Ms. Alison finished preparing me, but I refused to look at myself in the mirror. She pleaded with me to take a look, to see the woman she had worked so hard to make presentable for this day, but I couldn’t do it. I didn’t want to see the reflection of a bride who was being forced into a life she didn’t want. Eventually, she gave up and quietly excused herself, leaving me alone in the room. A short while later, my father came in to take me to the damaged hall where the wedding would be held. I could see the sadness in his eyes, the guilt and pain that mirrored my own. He didn’t say anything, just offered his arm, and I took it, knowing that this was the last time I would walk beside him as his little girl. We arrived at the venue at four in the evening. The scene that greeted us was sombre. Most of the attendees were members of my pack, and many of them were in tears, their grief palpable in the air. Alpha Adam’s security team stood around, their presence a constant reminder of the power he held over all of us. The venue itself looked hastily arranged, as if thrown together at the last minute. Their effort could not conceal the damage caused by the battle. The music was played from a simple speaker, and the whole affair felt cold and impersonal. So many things were off, but I found I didn’t care. This wasn’t a fairytale wedding; it was a forced union, a symbol of everything I had lost. As I stood there, facing the reality of what was about to happen, I felt a hollow emptiness inside me. The life I had dreamed of was gone, replaced by this bleak future. And as I took a deep breath and prepared to walk down the makeshift aisle, all I could think about was how unfair it all was.
06 Unfair
Elsa The moment my father and I stepped onto the makeshift aisle in the garden, an uneasy silence fell over the crowd. I could feel eyes on me, especially from the men who couldn’t seem to stop staring. The wedding gown I wore was more revealing than I had ever imagined wearing. Though it was long, the lace barely covered anything, leaving me feeling exposed and vulnerable. I had learned that Alpha Adam had sent it himself, and the thought of him choosing something so revealing only added to my sense of humiliation. I felt n@ked despite being dressed. But what struck me even more was the absence of Alpha Adam himself. As I approached the front, it wasn’t him standing there, waiting for me. Instead, it was the same brown-haired man I had encountered at his house. My heart sank as I frowned, turning to my father with confusion and hurt in my eyes. Was this a game? Was a ball to be passed around? "He is representing Alpha Adam. He couldn’t make it. He’s busy at the office," my father explained softly, his voice heavy with guilt and sorrow. Busy at the office? On his wedding day? The humiliation I felt was overwhelming. It was bad enough that I was being forced into this marriage, but for Alpha Adam to not even bother showing up made it so much worse. I had never witnessed such a thing in my life, and it was like a slap in the face. This was the first time I had ever felt so utterly discarded. The ceremony was rushed, devoid of any warmth or joy. There was no reception, no celebration—just a hollow, perfunctory exchange of vows. When it was over, the brown-haired man led me to the Alpha’s house, where he showed me to one of the rooms. "How do I change out of this?" I asked him, gesturing to the gown that felt more like a cage than a dress. "Wear the joggers in the wardrobe," he replied bluntly as if it were the most natural thing in the world. My heart sank further at the realisation that my marriage to Alpha Adam wasn’t going to be conventional in any sense. Who wears joggers on their wedding night? It was clear that this was not a union of love or even respect. Noticing that I wasn’t taken to the master’s bedroom, I understood that I would be sleeping alone. The thought brought a mix of relief and sadness. I wasn’t sure what I had expected, but this cold indifference wasn’t it. With nothing else to do, I decided to take a shower, hoping the water would wash away some of the pain and numbness I felt. After my shower, I slipped into my u*******r, feeling too drained to bother with anything else. My wolf, who had been silent through it all, remained quiet, sharing in my deep sense of loss and resignation. Alone in the unfamiliar room, I allowed myself to cry once more, the tears coming in waves as I lay down on the bed. Eventually, exhaustion overtook me, and I fell into a restless sleep, the reality of my situation settling into my bones like a cold, unyielding weight. Early the next morning, a man barged into my room without so much as a knock. I hadn’t seen Alpha Adam since the wedding, and though he hadn’t come to consummate the marriage, I was secretly relieved. I was still in my u*******r, so I quickly wrapped myself in the bedsheets, feeling both exposed and annoyed at the intrusion. The man didn’t seem to care about my state of undress; he simply walked in as if it were the most normal thing in the world. "I need you to sign these papers," he said, thrvsting a stack of documents into my hands. I blinked, trying to clear my swollen eyes and make sense of what was happening. "What for?" I asked, my voice hoarse from crying the night before. "Your wedding certificate and your agreement," he replied curtly. I took the papers from him, feeling a knot form in my stomach. "Okay, let me read the agreement," I said, trying to buy myself some time to figure out what was going on. But he shook his head impatiently. "No time. The lawyer needs to take them back, and you and the Alpha will be returning to his house in thirty minutes." His words only added to my confusion. "Am I not going to live here?" I asked, hoping for some clarity, but he just shook his head again, offering no explanation. Realising I wasn’t going to get any reasonable answers from him, I reluctantly signed the documents and handed them back. What choice did I have? I didn’t have any luggage, no clothes, or toiletries. I hadn’t been given a chance to prepare for this sudden move. I made do with what I had. I used the mouthwash in the bathroom and rinsed my body with water, feeling more like a prisoner than a bride. I found an oversized pair of joggers and a hoodie in the wardrobe, threw them on, and sat down in the chair, waiting for someone to come and tell me what to do next. I wished I could say goodbye to my father, but I knew Alpha Adam wouldn’t allow it. I hoped to call him once I got to wherever they were taking me, assuming I would be allowed to use my phone. The thought of being cut off from the only family I had left made my heart ache. Soon enough, someone came to e****t me out of the room. I had thought—naively, perhaps—that I would be sharing a ride with Alpha Adam, that we might at least have a conversation, but I was wrong. They put me in a separate car, away from him, and we drove off in a convoy. The whole situation felt surreal, like I was being transported to another world, one where I had no control, no voice, and no hope. As the car sped along, I couldn’t help but wonder what awaited me at Alpha Adam’s settlement and how much more of myself I would lose before this was all over.
07 At The Eclipse
Elsa The journey to the Eclipse pack settlement took two long hours. As we arrived, I noticed people gathering to welcome their Alpha. They seemed genuinely happy to see him, and it baffled me how anyone could feel such affection for someone as cruel as Alpha Adam. Once the car stopped, I was escorted out and led into what appeared to be the Packhouse. The settlement itself was beautiful, and the Packhouse was grander and more lavish than anything in my own pack. I was struck by the size and opulence of it all. A maid took me upstairs, and my heart pounded in fear, expecting to be taken to Alpha Adam’s room. But to my surprise, she led me to a small, unremarkable room. The space was modest, and the furniture was simple—nothing like the grandeur of the rest of the house. "Someone will bring in your luggage," the maid said before leaving. I was about to explain that I hadn’t brought any luggage when two men entered with four large travelling bags. The bags still had tags on them, and it was clear they were brand new. Once they left me alone, I sat on the bed, trying to make sense of everything. My stomach growled loudly, reminding me of how hungry I was. I didn’t want to leave the room, afraid of overstepping my bounds in this unfamiliar place, so I stayed put. After about an hour, there was a knock at the door. I called out for them to come in, and to my relief, they brought food. The sight of the meal made me realise just how hungry I was. The portions were large, more than I could finish, but I was grateful they hadn’t left me to starve. Before they left, I asked if I could get a charger for my phone. One of the maids promised to bring one soon, giving me a small sense of comfort in this strange new world. The maid kept her promise and brought me a charger. Once my phone was charged, I immediately called my father, desperate to hear a familiar voice. "Daddy, how are you?" I asked, my voice soft, trying to keep my emotions in check. Hearing him on the other end brought a small sense of comfort. "I'm okay, sweetie. How is he treating you?" my father asked, his voice full of concern. "I haven't seen the Alpha yet," I replied, the words sounding strange even to my own ears. How could I be married to someone and not even have seen him since the wedding? "He’s put me in charge of our pack," my father said, and I could hear a mixture of pride and resignation in his voice. "I’m to report to him and not make any decisions without his approval. I guess he took you with him for insurance." His words made me feel a mix of relief and sadness—relief that my father still held some dignity and authority, but sadness that I was being used as a pawn. We talked for a bit longer, and I promised to call him often. After we said our goodbyes, I found myself alone once again in the small room that was now mine. The day dragged on, and I spent it entirely in the room. Claire, my wolf, was restless and wanted to go on a run, but I was too unfamiliar with the territory to risk it. The thought of wandering into enemy land and getting into trouble kept me in place. I ate dinner in the room, the silence around me growing heavier with each passing hour. Eventually, I decided to go through the luggage that had been brought in. As I opened each bag, I found them filled with new items. One was stocked with toiletries, cosmetics, and l******e; another with casual wear and nightwear. The third bag held outfits meant for formal occasions, and the last was packed with shoes, bags, and purses. I methodically arranged everything in the wardrobe, trying to keep my mind occupied, but the sense of isolation and uncertainty lingered. With nothing else to do, I turned to the television, something I rarely did. But now, it seemed like the only distraction available. I flipped through the channels, trying to find something that could hold my interest. Eventually, I settled on a game show. It was dull, but it was the best option I could find. I deliberately avoided anything romantic. The last thing I wanted was to be reminded of the love and happiness that would likely never be a part of my life now. As I sat there, watching the mindless entertainment on the screen, I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of loss. My life had changed so drastically in such a short time, and there was nothing I could do to reclaim what had been taken from me.
08 Alpha Adam’s Rules
Elsa I tried to distract myself by watching a few episodes of the game show, but eventually, I switched to a comedy film, hoping it would lift my spirits. Instead, the romantic elements in the film triggered a wave of emotions I couldn’t control. I ended up crying, the tears flowing as the reality of my situation crashed down on me. I wanted to stop, but the pain was too overwhelming. Afterward, I showered, hoping the warm water would soothe me, and then I slipped into one of the pyjamas from the luggage and fell into a restless sleep. In the middle of the night, I was startled awake by someone in my room. Groggily, I struggled to sit up, my mind still foggy from sleep. When my eyes finally focused, I saw Alpha Adam standing over me, his presence sending a jolt of fear through my body. Reflexively, I moved back, my heart pounding. This was the moment I had dreaded—he had finally come to me. I had hoped, foolishly, that he would continue to ignore me, that I would remain nothing more than a distant obligation to him. But I was wrong. He was here, and I didn’t want him to t***h me, to claim me. "Wake up, Elsa," he said, his deep voice commanding my full attention. Suddenly, I was wide awake, my senses on high alert. I didn’t know what to say, so I just stared at him, my mind racing with fear and uncertainty. He moved closer, his hand reaching out to t***h my t***h. The contact made my skin crawl, but I forced myself to stay still. "Were you seeing someone before this?" he asked, his voice low and direct. I shook my head, too scared and shocked to do anything else. His eyes flashed with surprise, though he quickly masked it. "Okay," he said, his tone cold and emotionless. "You are not allowed to date or sleep with anyone here. I will not claim you, and I will not sleep with you. I believe that’s a small price to pay to keep your father and your old pack safe. But know this—if you run away, I will kill them. We might be married, but you are not my Luna, and you never will be. Are we clear?" His words were like ice, freezing any hope I might have had for even the slightest kindness from him. I looked at him, my heart sinking deeper into despair. "Am I going to live like this for the rest of my life? Are you going to let me go eventually?" I asked him, my voice trembling with desperation. I needed to know if there was any hope, any chance of escaping this nightmare. But he shook his head, his expression cold and unyielding. "I’m afraid I’m not going to let you go," he replied, his face a mask of indifference. His words sparked a surge of anger in me, the unfairness of it all overwhelming. "Then it’s only fair you let me have affairs and flings; have someone in the least," I shot back, my voice filled with defiance. The moment I said it, I saw his eyes darken with fury, a murderous glare that sent a chill down my spine. "It’s not like I care about you in that sense," he said, his tone dripping with contempt, "but if my wife were sleeping around, it would affect my reputation. Learn celibacy; it will help you." "Are you celibate?" I snapped, unable to hide the bitterness in my voice. He stood up, a smirk playing on his l**s as he looked down at me. "Don’t cross the line with me, Elsa," he warned, the threat in his voice unmistakable. He was about to leave when I quickly blurted out another question. "May I go on runs and hunts with my wolf?" I asked, hoping for at least some small freedom in this confined existence. He paused and turned to face me, his eyes calculating. "Feel free to do so within this territory," he replied, but there was no kindness in his tone. "Who will show me around?" I asked, clinging to the last shred of hope for some guidance in this new place. His l**s curled into an evil smile. "No one," he said coldly before walking out of the room, leaving me seething with rage. How dare he come in here and impose rules on me that even he couldn’t follow? This wasn’t a marriage—it was imprisonment. He had used the wedding to placate my father, to give the illusion of a proper union, but in reality, I was nothing more than a captive, held against my will in a gilded cage. I looked around the room, feeling the weight of his indifference pressing down on me. It was clear he had no intention of treating me well, and I realised I couldn’t let his behavior get to me. I knew I wasn’t wanted, and neither was he. Resigned to my fate, I lay back in bed, praying that time would pass quickly and that one day, I might be free of this torment—even if it meant waiting for death to take me.
09 Defiance
Elsa After breakfast, I decided to go on a run, needing to escape the suffocating confines of the Packhouse. I ventured into the forest and shifted into Claire, my wolf form. My fur was pure white, a rare and striking colour that had always been a source of pride for me. Back in my old pack, members would often compliment the beauty of my wolf, and I loved the attention. But here, in this new place, I knew there would be no one to admire me. It was clear that Alpha Adam had instructed everyone to avoid me. As I ran through the woods, I noticed how the other pack members kept their distance, their eyes averted as if I didn’t exist. My twentieth birthday was approaching, but the thought of celebrating it felt hollow. My life, as I had known it, was already over. What was the point in marking another year when all the joy and potential had been stripped away? I didn’t return to the house until late at night, enjoying the freedom of the forest as long as I could. I took a quick shower when I returned, feeling a little more at peace after the run. But as soon as I stepped out of the bathroom, Alpha Adam stormed into my room, his face twisted with anger. "Where did you go?" he yelled, his voice echoing off the walls. The intensity of his anger caught me off guard. "I went on a run," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady and confident. "You expect me to believe you just went on a run?" he snapped, his eyes narrowing in suspicion. "What else did you think I was doing?" I retorted, trying to remain calm. "I’m new to these parts, so I decided to look around." But my explanation did nothing to soften his gaze. "And you didn’t think to inform me through the mind link?" he demanded, his voice laced with irritation. I was momentarily taken aback by his accusation. The idea of contacting him through the mind link hadn’t even crossed my mind. We were bonded by the forced marriage, but I hadn’t felt any real connection to him, so it didn’t occur to me to reach out that way. "I didn’t think it was necessary," I finally said, trying to maintain my composure. "I was just running, exploring the territory." His anger didn’t dissipate. Instead, it seemed to simmer just beneath the surface, and I could see how deeply it bothered him that he didn’t know where I was or what I was doing. For a moment, we stood there in silence, the tension between us thick and oppressive. "Next time, you inform me," he ordered, his tone leaving no room for argument. "I won’t tolerate disobedience." I nodded, unwilling to provoke him further, but inside, I seethed with frustration. It was clear that, in his eyes, I was nothing more than a possession—a wife in name only, someone to be controlled and kept under constant surveillance. "I didn’t think I mattered that much," I said, trying to keep my voice steady despite the tension in the room. "You spelled it out clearly: if I run away, you’ll kill everyone. That’s enough motivation for me not to run." My words were honest, but they did nothing to ease the atmosphere. Alpha Adam stepped closer to me, and for the first time, he stood so near that I could feel the heat radiating from his body. He towered over me, his presence overwhelming. At five feet seven inches, I had never felt so small in my life, especially standing next to a man who was six feet eight inches tall. His height and the intensity in his eyes made my heart pound in my chest. It wasn’t fear, though—something else entirely, a surge of adrenaline that left me breathless. I forced myself to hold his gaze, refusing to be intimidated. "There are troublesome wolves out there," he said, his voice low and ominous. "I can take care of myself, Alpha," I replied, trying to sound confident. "I’m not as weak as I look." A small, defiant smile tugged at my l**s, and he responded with an evil grin, one that sent a shiver down my spine. "If you get yourself killed, I will wipe out your pack," he threatened, his words cutting through the air like a blade. It wasn’t fair, and the cruelty of it made my blood boil. "What if I die by accident?" I asked, pushing back just enough to test the limits of his insanity. He didn’t bother to answer. Instead, he turned on his heel and stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him with a force that made the walls shake. The pounding in my chest hadn’t stopped, and I felt a confusing mix of emotions churning inside me. I didn’t know when—or if—it would subside. Desperate for some kind of release, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Maybe if I could calm myself down, I could make sense of what I was feeling, and perhaps, just for a moment, forget about the suffocating reality of my situation. I lay in my bed and spread my legs apart. Reaching into my pants, I touched myself feeling for my cl1t trying to imagine the perfect man so I could escape the reality in my head. As I began to work on myself, rubbing with my fingers. An image of Alpha Adam flashed through my mind's eyes, and I felt horrible for fantasising about him, but I couldn't help it. He was hot ma and If this was all his image would be good for, so be it. I m****d, pleasure coursing through me until I finally came. I went further and eased my clenching walls with my finger to calm down, and soon I relaxed. After finishing, I felt ashamed of myself. I couldn't allow myself to feel attracted to the man; he was wicked. I decided to watch a couple of movies to see if I could find a new face for my fantasies. It seemed like touching myself would be the only way I would get any release for the rest of my miserable life. I might as well get creative.
10 Good Morning, Wife
Elsa The next day passed without incident. I decided to test Alpha Adam’s limits a bit, staying out longer than I had the day before, curious to see how he would react. It wasn’t that I liked him, but with no one else in the pack willing to interact with me, provoking him seemed like the only way to keep my sanity. It was strange, but aggravating him at least meant I existed in someone’s eyes. When I finally returned and took a shower, I half-expected him to burst into my room again, furious. But he didn’t come. I guessed he had said all he needed to the night before, so I went to bed, determined to find something more productive to do the next day. The following morning, after breakfast, I decided to rest a bit before heading out for another run. But when I was ready to leave, I found that my door was locked. Panic quickly set in as I banged on the door, waiting for someone to come and let me out. No one answered. My heart raced as the walls seemed to close in around me. I couldn’t bring myself to break down the door; I didn’t want to damage Alpha Adam’s property, knowing how he might react. As frustration and fear gnawed at me, I suddenly heard Alpha Adam’s voice in my head through the mind link. "Good morning, dear wife. This is punishment for defying me and coming home very late in the night," he said, his tone almost mocking before he abruptly severed the connection. Rage boiled within me. How could he be so cruel, so inconsiderate? Locking me in was his way of asserting control, of reminding me that even the smallest freedoms I had were at his mercy. Going out was the only way I could escape the suffocating confines of this place, the only way I could feel remotely free in this prison he called home. And now, he had taken even that away from me. I hated him in that moment, more than I had ever hated anyone. The anger coursed through me, but there was nothing I could do. Trapped in that room, I felt utterly powerless, my spirit crushed beneath the weight of his control. I paced the room, my frustration growing with each passing minute. I tried to link with Alpha Adam several times, hoping to convince him to let me and Claire run wild, to give us some freedom. But each time, he blocked me out, refusing to let me in. My anger simmered beneath the surface, but I knew I had to be smart about this. I wasn't going to let him keep me trapped. Deciding to bide my time, I waited for lunch. I had a plan—when the omegas brought my meal, I would make a run for it. I refused to let this room become a physical prison as well as a mental one. I pretended to calm down, acting as though I had given up, but I didn’t change my clothes. I only took off my shoes to be ready for a quick escape. Lunch finally arrived around three in the afternoon. As soon as the omega opened the door, I bolted, darting past them and into the forest, barefoot and determined. I ran until I reached the lake I had spotted the day before. It was a place of peace and freedom, far from Alpha Adam’s control. Stripping off my clothes, I dove into the cool water, letting it wash away my anger and fear. For a brief moment, I felt like I had regained a piece of myself, a small victory against the man who sought to control me. After swimming for a while, I emerged from the lake, waiting for my skin to dry before dressing again. I wasn’t ready to return just yet, so I decided to stroll through the forest, taking in the beauty around me. But my peace was short-lived. A low, menacing growl echoed through the woods, sending a shiver down my spine. Claire immediately sensed the danger, and without hesitation, we shifted. I began to run, but I wasn’t fast enough. Out of nowhere, a huge wolf barreled into me, knocking me into a tree with a sickening crunch. Pain shot through my body, but I had no time to cry out. I needed to stand my ground. Struggling to my feet, I faced my attacker—a rogue Alpha wolf, its eyes filled with murderous intent. With no other choice, I leaped at it, and the fight began. We clawed, bit, and wrestled with ferocity. I was a trained warrior, nearly as powerful as an Alpha breed, and I knew how to hold my own in a fight. Despite the pain, I fought with everything I had. After what felt like an eternity of battle, I finally managed to get the upper hand. Sinking my teeth into its throat, I held on until I felt the rogue's life drain away with its final whimper. As the rogue wolf’s body slumped to the ground, I stood over it, panting and covered in blood. Claire and I were both injured, our strength nearly spent. But there was no time to rest. I had to get back to the Packhouse. Staggering through the forest, my vision blurred and my body weakened with every step. I pushed on, driven by sheer willpower. Finally, as I neared the Packhouse, my body gave out. Claire and I collapsed, succumbing to the darkness that had been creeping in since the fight. Everything went black as we passed out, our fate now in the hands of those who would find us.
